The conception and development of the INVISIO Intercom system is the first of its kind, representing a new category of mobile and simple intercom systems.

The system bridges the gap between the mounted and dismounted soldier, making it possible for multiple users and radios to connect simultaneously using their existing dismounted soldier system. The soldier can access all vehicle communications directly from their INVISIO control unit, so there is no need to disconnect or connect other equipment when entering or exiting a vehicle – allowing for a safe and seamless connection to the vehicle intercom system.

INVISIO is best known for developing a series of communication and hearing protection systems aimed at dismounted users. These different systems have been adopted and fielded by a range of customers within the global defence and public safety communities, where the need for reliable, safe and easy-to-use products is critical.

With the intercom system, INVISIO's offering expands to include a full range of products for communication and hearing protection in both mounted and dismounted operations.

"With the intercom system, INVISIO is bridging the gap between the dismounted and mounted soldier. Allowing for simplicity, modularity and flexibility to fit the communication needs of the soldier, it meets all operational requirements," says Carsten Aagesen, SVP for sales and marketing at INVISIO.

Any vehicle communications platform is easily integrated with minimal effort. The system is lightweight, plug and play, and unparalleled in size, allowing troops to move anywhere while maintaining their communications. INVISIO Intercom system allows seamless transitions between land, sea and air assets with hearing protection and full situational awareness at all times.

INVISIO will be demonstrating its intercom system at DSEi 2019 in London, UK, on 10-13 September at booth N3-470.
