DAT - CON was founded and located in Polzela, Slovenia in 1992 and offers specialised mobile and stationary observation solutions. Systems are mainly used for coastal and land border control. More than 90% of products are exported in other countries around the world.

With more than 20 years of experiences company have gained a lot of knowledge and different skills that enables them fast reaction regarding demands on the market and special requirements of final customers. Company provides customised solutions for land, sea and air security where mobile, stationary and UAV systems work together in combination. Systems work in combination of thermal camera, day night camera, special software SOVA, Radar systems and other components with which DAT - CON is covering more than 2000 km of European borders.

Mobile surveillance systems can be integrated into different types of vehicles to meet customer requirements (vans, all-terrain vehicles, SUV, etc..) and are usually equipped with thermal camera in combination with day/night camera and software that sends all information in command and control centre and some communication equipment. Vehicles do not stand out from other vehicles because of their normal appearance and with that company can provide very significant advantages in special undercover operations. Every vehicle is customised and tailored to customers' wishes so they feel comfortable as in normal office. Vehicles work as an independent unit or they are connected with system. You can find them in many countries around the world (for example Egypt, Croatia, Moldova, Austria, Cyprus, Greece, Slovenia, Romania...).

Stationary systems are used mostly for border security, airports, port surveillance. They are usually placed on some high strategic spots and enable long range observation (up to 40 kilometres) which means that this is a very good solution for green and blue border observation.

Multisensor units are optimal solutions for border and coastal surveillance applications. Day and night vision system allows observation in total darkness and under all weather conditions even in fog, rain and snow. The movable pan tilt platform is capable of extremly slow and fast moving. Day/night and thermal cameras have optical and digital zoom and also provide stable picture in windy conditions with proven methods of stabilisation. Also, the operator at the control centre is able to monitor the status of all systems and all data signals output from the multisensor can be sent to the control center via multiple means of communication (ethernet, wireless, optic fiber,...).

Portable observation systems are used every day by police and military to protect areas of interest. Bopas is a remote control target acquisition system with manual and automatic monitoring capabilities. Compatible with all leading manufacturers of multisensory camera systems makes it ideal for integration. It was developed based on extensive experience from the field. It uses a state of the art wireless data transceiver enabling it to communicate with base station up to 40 km with line of sight and up to 3 km with non-line of sight. New battery concept extends autonomy up to 12 hours with maximum performance. Bopas is available in different configurations to meet customer demands. It comes with a complete command and control software package which also makes the system very cost effective.

As a connection point for all subsystems and a distribution point for data to all connected clients we use server functions of a SOVA software which was developed specifically for the border police, coast guards and navy applications. It is very efficient tool that is easy to use.
