PLATH presents a combined COMMS ESM and RADAR ESM system at IMDEX Asia 2013

15 April 2013 by

For the first time in the Asia Pacific region, PLATH will present the new MACOS system, during the upcoming IMDEX Asia 2013, to be held on 14-16 May 2013 at Changi Exhibition Center in Singapore.

For sea surveillance, search and rescue operations, the defence against piracy and other maritime operations, a fast, detailed and reliable situational picture is essential to accomplish the mission at the best. MACOS supports navy units and offshore patrol vessels, enabling them to detect both conventional and asymmetric threats in time.

MACOS is a system for maritime environments, based on the automatic COMINT system ACOS, which is already employed successfully throughout the world. It combines COMMS ESM and RADAR ESM results into a common and comprehensive situation report of the area of interest. MACOS is a modular system, but even at entry solution the operator benefits from combining both sensors and thus gets a completely new level of quality in assessing the situation.

On the occasion of PLATH´s participation at IMDEX Asia 2013 the regional subsidiary of PLATH in Singapore will officially be opened.
PLATH is an internationally recognized specialist in communication intelligence and electronic warfare, with products and turnkey solutions covering the complete intelligence cycle "from sensors to knowledge".
