Innovation at close range: PROCITEC presented new sensor systems for detecting FSO and WLAN signals at AFCEA 2013

26 April 2013 by

PROCITEC GmbH once again demonstrated its expertise as a digital signal processing, radio monitoring and radio intelligence specialist at the AFCEA 2013 trade fair in Bad Godesberg.

"This year, we are proud to present our intelligent sensor systems as our most recent innovation. Equipped with comprehensive functionalities for technical analysis and evaluation, they are an ideal solution for FSO (Free-Space Optical Communication) and WLAN signal interception. The presentation of our new universal OFDM demodulator is another highlight. It has been designed as a toolbox and can thus be used for the majority of relevant OFDM signals," PROCITEC's Managing Director Michael Brenk explained.

The audience of trade professionals also showed great interest in the installation of the WiRAS recording software on an extremely compact and robust server and data recorder developed by Galleon Embedded Computing GmbH. PROCITEC was able to once again demonstrate that its software is completely independent of any specific platforms or dedicated hardware.

PROCITEC GmbH has worked closely with German security agencies for many years. The company specializes in developing software products and systems for telecommunications engineering and information technology that are designed specifically for detecting and processing civilian and military radio signals.
