Babcock International is set to highlight its extensive defence industry experience at the popular Future Surface Fleet conference in Portsmouth, UK on 5-7 June. Majoring on its innovative through life support of warships, and strengthening its position on future naval shipbuilding, Babcock's team of experts will share their strategic industry insights as the UK's leading naval support business.
Drawing on experiences including the Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carrier programme and a build programme for Irish Offshore Patrol Vessels - which recently saw its fourth ship floated-out of Babcock's Appledore facility - Babcock will promote innovation, discuss industry challenges and identify key opportunities for the industry whilst it focuses on the benefits of collaboration.

Babcock's ATHENA technology is one such innovation. ATHENA offers predictive in-service support to global navies, whilst in parallel; the company's embedded 'designed for support' learning package will enable the right knowledge to be available to the right teams, at the right time. Both technologies will be showcased at the conference. Combining training and technology, and embracing the positive impact of the Warship Technical Authority, Babcock is trusted to deliver a holistic in-service support package for its domestic and international customers.
