Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) announced the expansion of the F-35 Master's student internship program with Terma and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in a ceremony on 13 November announcing the newly appointed Danish interns from DTU.
Jack Crisler, Lockheed Martin F-35 vice president, and Jens Maaløe, Terma president and CEO, announced the 2016 interns and spoke briefly about the F-35 Rate Transition Execution and Quality Engineering Teams where the students will participate in actual F-35 programme tasks during five-month internships in Fort Worth, Texas, starting mid-January 2016.
The DTU students selected to participate in the 2016 F-35 intern programme are Liane Hansen, Trugvi Kristiansen, Magnus Kvisgaard, Marc Alexander Samuelsen and Andreas Noerballe.

The intern program's expansion increases the number of interns from two graduate level interns from Aarhus University in 2015 to five DTU students in 2016 through the partnership with Terma. This expansion allows both DTU and Aarhus University students the opportunity to apply and compete for the opportunity to learn more about advanced technologies in the global aerospace industry.
