Velcon Filters specializes in fuel and oil filtration & separation, supplying solutions and products to the aviation, refineries, pipelines, industrial, and utility industries to filter and separate water and solid contaminants.
The filters being manufactured range from coalescers and separator cartridges, including pre-filters and filtration systems designed to remove solid contaminants and free water from various jet fuels, avgas, category m-fuels, diesel, and a variety of lubricant oils.
Several of Velcon's products help assure fuel quality is clean and dry. One such product is the Velcon Contaminant Analyzer (VCA®), which is equipped with a laser sensing technology to simultaneously detect and measure free water and solid contaminants in fuel upstream and downstream of the filtration process. While another Velcon product, the Hydrokit® can quickly and effectively field test for the presence of free water in fuel.
