The company helps device manufacturers maintain rigorous quality control objectives by designing, manufacturing and distributing some of the toughest and highest-performing push-pull connectors and cable assembly solutions on the market today. It adds value for its customers by continually investing in connector product design and functionality, ensuring that device manufacturers and their users can take advantage of the latest technologies.

A solution for every military need

Fischer Connectors' product lines include several connecting solutions for military, defence and security applications.

Fischer Ultimate Original Series features a miniature, ultra-light and rugged design, extremely robust keying, high shock and vibration resistance, excellent shielding, and satisfies the ultimate sealing level IP68/69K even when unmated.

The Fischer Core Series offers high-performance push-pull connectors and cable assembly solutions. Rugged and reliable, sealed or hermetic, lightweight and compact, Fischer Core Series is trusted by high-end industries worldwide.

The Fischer Rugged Flash Drive is an extremely tough USB memory stick specially designed for safe storage and transportation of sensitive data in harsh environments. The memory module is securely mounted within a durable aluminium casing that provides full protection against extreme environmental conditions. Sealed to IP68/69K even when unmated, the Rugged Flash Drive is waterproof at depths of 120m and resistant to extreme temperatures (-40°C-+85°C).

Innovative fibre-optic technology

Fischer Connectors recently released the brand-new Fischer FiberOptic Series for robust optical performance. This interconnecting technology offers the essential quality and stability needed for an optical link, combined with extreme robustness, easy mating and simple cleaning. The Fischer FiberOptic connector will perform perfectly in harsh and extreme environments.

It has a high ingress protection of IP68 when mated and IP67 in unmated conditions. In addition, optical performance is insensitive to mechanical strain on the connector. The spring optical contacts employed filter out any stress applied to the connector housings while keeping the universal benefit of a push-pull solution: quick, safe and easy locking.

Designed to withstand the worst conditions

The innovative Fischer MiniMax Series has 20 signal and four power connections in one small, dense pre-cabled connection solution. It is designed for the harshest environments, passing extreme temperature tests and boasting an impressive 1,000 hours of saltwater spray corrosion resistance. The Fischer MiniMax Series is more cost-effective not only because the connector is physically smaller, but also because the 24-contact configuration uses fewer connectors. On top of that, fewer cables are required, so the entire device becomes more cost-efficient and stays reliable.
